About
Originally from a small town in Saskatchewan, Allan spent several years working in the agriculture industry with a company formerly known as United Grain Growers. He then transitioned to studying Criminal Justice at Lethbridge College. During his time at college, Allan worked part-time in Security Services at the University of Lethbridge, which eventually led to a career dedicated to the field of security. Over the course of more than thirty years, Allan has undergone significant personal development and gained extensive experience that has shaped his understanding and approach to security matters.
The diverse roles he has occupied has afforded Allan opportunities to collaborate with professionals in the security field and law enforcement agencies, including the court system, providing him with a comprehensive perspective of the justice system. Allan has since maintained a commitment to continuous learning and eagerly seeks out opportunities to exchange ideas.
His additional experiences encompass civilian canine search and rescue work with the RCMP K Division, Private Investigations, and a period spent guarding cells for the Fort Macleod RCMP detachment.
As a member of the American Society of Industrial Security International (ASIS), Allan holds an Alberta Security license and is authorized through the Alberta Solicitor General as a Security and Investigations trainer. Additionally, Allan has obtained additional certifications in CPTED, ICS 200, and VTRA.
Allan is located in Lethbridge, Alberta and serves all of Southern Alberta.

Aside from a drop during the COVID-19 pandemic, Canada’s Severity Crime Index has rose every year since 2014 and many Canadians feel crime has gotten worse compared to before the pandemic.
At ASC, we aim to provide affordable security solutions to those in need so we can help reverse this trend.

ASC will conduct an in-person on-site evaluation of your property and provide a written report that addresses your concerns and any issues detected by ASC. You have complete freedom to choose the action you want after the consultation.
At Ally Security Consulting we thrive on challenges, and a large organization such a post-secondary school or government organization presents multiple questions which need to be considered in whole and in part of the organization. Public access to the facilities while protecting assets at the same time? Business continuity during extreme circumstances? Multiple sites within the organization, each with unique characteristics and vulnerabilities.
While there are no guarantees that utopia will be achieved with a single visit, ASC will always be available for follow-up consultations. We are your ally. The aim is to minimize your vulnerability to crime. It has long been said that locks only keep out honest people.
In general, the process begins with you, the client. Once you make the initial contact with ASC we will discuss your concerns, needs and expectations. An estimate of costs and time to complete can be provided. If you choose to proceed then a deposit will be required, usually 50% of the estimated fee. The next step would be an in-person visit to your site, where a thorough review will be conducted. We will discuss your experiences, and expectations. Once this has been completed, ASC returns to our offices and processes the data and circumstances into a written report that you can keep. A follow-up meeting will be arranged where the report can be presented and reviewed together. Any further actions can be discussed and planned out accordingly
Every client has unique circumstances and requires individual attention which includes on-site evaluation, report writing and summary along with an in-person follow-up review of our findings and briefing on your options. An estimated time frame can be provided at the initial contact
